Holly Gail Mauldin Alonzo, 30, went to be with her Lord and Savior at her home in Amarillo, Texas, January 22, 2017. She was born on January 5, 1987, to Ralph and Pam Johnson Mauldin in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Alvin 'Mounty' Johnson, Margaret Mauldin, Paula Webb, Ray Webb, and Joe Alonzo. Holly was a graduate of the Piggott High School Class of 2005. Holly believed in the death, burial, and resurrection and she let her faith overcome her fear. She is survived by her husband Edward Alonzo; one son, Isaiah Alonzo of Amarillo, Texas; her father and mother, Ralph and Pam Mauldin of Piggott, Arkansas; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raymond and Jaquita Alonzo of Amarillo, Texas; her two grannies, Granny Mary Johnson of Pollard, Arkansas, and Granny Mary Alonzo of Amarillo, Texas; two sisters: Kelly Mauldin and fianc Chad Dixon of La Cygne, Kansas, Crystal (Kevin) Dillon of Hot Springs, Arkansas; brother, Matt Mauldin (Lisa) Mauldin of St. Francis, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Stephanie Alonzo; brother-in-law, Kevin Alonzo; nieces: Hope Windel, Kaylee and Kelsey Dillon, Jessica Fouts, and Adiyah Alonzo; nephews: Damien and Dusty McElhaney, Brandon Johnson, Quinton Mauldin, Aaron Mauldin, Juan Alonzo (Mauri), Cruz and Zachariah Alonzo; great-nephews: Dean, Jonah Dale, Brayden, and Finnian; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Keith Crittenden and Danny Self officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery. Pallbearers are Charles Noles, Kalon Johnson, Daniel Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Kevin Dillon, Danny Mauldin, Brandon Johnson, Arlis Mauldin. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Memorial Fund set up for Holly at Regions Bank to help her husband and young son.
