Charles Oscar Glover, 71, of Independence, Missouri passed away December 28, 2014 at his home. He was born September 19, 1943 to the late Ural Lester and Mamie Gordon Glover in Piggott, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by one brother: Carl Glover. He was a Mason and a Shiner. He was a member of the American Legion and he helped conduct military honors for many veterans' funerals for many years. He is survived by two sons, Todd Glover of Kansas City, Missouri, and Tracy Glover of Denver, Colorado; one sister Genada Glover of Pasadena, Texas, two brothers: Gaylon Glover of Holcomb, Missouri and Van Glover of Piggott, Arkansas; and a host of other friends, and relatives. Funeral services will be held Wednesday December 31, 2014 at Piggott at 2:00 P. M. in Piggott Cemetery, Piggott, Arkansas, with Andy Newbill officiating. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home are in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the charity of your choice.
