Charles Ray, 58, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 3, 2012, at his home. He was born on November 22, 1953, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and was the son of the late Charlie and Margaret (Stephens) Ray. Survivors include his wife, Debbie (Elkins) Ray of Piggott; three daughters: Whitney Stubblefield and husband Jason of Springfield, Missouri, Caroline Ray of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and Ashley Ray of Fayetteville, Arkansas; one step-son: Will Stephens of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; two step-daughters: Kelsey Stephens of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Hayley Stephens of Nashville, Tennessee; one grandson: Hunter Stubblefield; one brother: Russell Ray and wife Joanie of Texas; his mother-in-law, Carolyn Elkins of Piggott, Arkansas; and a host of other family and friends. Visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2012, at 6:00 P.M. Final disposition will be at a later date. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
