Donald Dewayne Satterfield, 71, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away October 4, 2012. He was born on August 27, 1941, in Pollard, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Claude and Fannie Tatum Satterfield. His daughter, Rahdon Moffitt preceded him in death. He was united in marriage to Jo Ann Permenter on January 2, 1982. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Satterfield; daughters: Robin Massey of Piggott, Arkansas, Renee Hicks of Piggott, Arkansas, Cindy Rohlfing of Herculaneum, Missouri, Kimberly Groves of Piggott, Arkansas, Stephanie Shy of Festus, Missouri; thirteen grandchildren: Bryan Groves, Dustin Groves, Kyle Cooper, Josh Hicks, Jared Vaughn, Chet Vaughn, Kasey Lemmons, Arielle Cate, Alesha Rohlfing, Caresse Shy, Logan Massey, Hunter Massey, and Heath Shy; seven great-grandchildren: Kaden, Maci, Savannah, Hadlee, Hailey, Peyton, and Kannon; sisters: Wilma Lemons of Imperial, Missouri, Audene McGhann of St. Peters, Missouri, and Ethel Grider of Arnold, Missouri; brothers: Bill Satterfield of St. Louis, Missouri, and Garland Satterfield of St. Peters, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, October 7, 2012, at 1:30 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Loy Culver officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Bryan Groves, Dustin Groves, Kyle Cooper, Josh Hicks, Jared Vaughn, Chet Vaughn, Logan Massey, Hunter Massey, and Heath Shy.
