78 year old, Edward Oehme of Wheatfield, passed away May 22, 2015. On August 17, 1936, Edward was born to Edwin and Lucille (Winter) Oehme in Chicago, Illinois. Edward attended Chicago Vocational School, and he worked as a Project Coordinator for Dec-Art Designs Inc. for many years. On July 17, 1994 Edward married Mary Haley in Rensselaer, Indiana. He was an avid fisherman, loved woodworking, and loved his family very much. Edward is survived by his loving wife: Mary, children: Debra & Rich, Edward & Julie, Richard & Barb, Karen & Rick, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, and 1 granddaughter: Jennifer Hayes. Friends are invited to visit with the family on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield. Services for Edward will take place on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at the Wheatfield Church of Christ, Wheatfield, with Minister Gerald Frump officiating. Interment will take place at the Mitchell Cemetery, in Greenway, Arkansas on Thursday, May 28, 2015, at 10: 30 a.m. with Jerry Morgan officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Schultz Lewis Children's Home.
