Gerald Trammell, 61, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away December 19, 2014, at his home in Kennett. He was born on January 11, 1953, in Saint Joe, Michigan, and was the son of the late Fred and Ruby Etta (Weeks) Trammell. He was preceded in death by his son, Terry Trammell; and his siblings: Fronie Brown, Marie Barker, Pauline Tyson, Willie Trammell, Oval Trammell, and Dub Trammell. He is survived by his wife, Kay (Lewis) Trammell of Kennett, Missouri; children: Tess Johnson of Piggott, Arkansas, Kim Trammell of Piggott, Arkansas, Michelle Trammell of Kennett, Missouri, Sandy Owens of Kennett, Missouri, Brian Trammell of Kennett, Missouri, and nephew, Randall Trammell of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren: Sheleen, Katie, Roger, Hollie, Tasha, Brittany, Tiffany, and Quenton; five great-grandchildren: Landon, Levi, Aaron, Sofia, and Alexis; three sisters: Bertha Lucas of Corning, Arkansas, Genieva Shebore of Michigan, and Wilma Hopkins of Mountain Home, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 21, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Bro. Danny Self officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Sandy Owens, Jason Owens, Tess Johnson, James Johnson, Kim Trammell, Roger Trammell, Michelle Trammell, James Hindmon, Brian Trammell, and Randall Trammell. Honorary pallbearers are Cody Laxton and Quenton Owens. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation begins at 12:00 p.m. until service time on Sunday.
