Imogene Wheeler Largent, 85, of Paragould, Arkansas, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould. She was born July 8, 1925, in Senath, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late Oliver and Maudie Wilson Wheeler. She was united in marriage to Joe Wayne Largent on June 8, 1947, and to this union twin sons were born. Joe preceded her in death on July 19, 1985. She was also preceded in death by her son, Joe Wayne Largent, Jr., and two sisters, Alma Goatley and Betty Carter. Survivors include her son, James Edward Largent and wife Vicki of Paragould, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Gayle Largent of Kansas City, Kansas; five grandchildren: Grant Largent of Alaska, Justin Largent of Kansas City, Kansas, Joe Largent and wife Kim of Bell Buckle, Tennessee, Mary Largent of Nashville, Tennessee, and Jay Grooms of Sheridan, Arkansas; five great-grandchildren: Kennedy, Allisha, Jamie, Addyson, and Landyn; two sisters: Betty Stanley of Dexter, Missouri, and Joanne Wentworth of Portland, Oregon; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 25, 2011, at 3:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Rev. Richard Williams officiating. Burial is in New Hope Cemetery in Pollard.
