Lorraine Betty Parker Watson, 96, of Piggott, AR, passed away June 22, 2014 at the Piggott Hospital. Lorraine was born in the Langley Community on December 19, 1917.
On December 8, 1949, she married her husband of 65 years, John Watson.
Lorraine was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1950. She was a faithful Sunday school teacher, a beautician and active in the United Methodist Women for many years. Lorraine was a long standing member of the Eastern Star.
She is preceded in death by her daughter: Clara Lynn Watson, parents: Alex and Myrtle Parker, sisters: Aylene Hoggard and Mae Moore, brother: Peck Parker, and
nephew: Bill Hoggard.
Survivors include: her husband, John Watson
Nieces: Elaine Williams, Madolyn Scrivner, Carolyn Gearhart, Dinah Boyden, Carlene Barra, and Suzi Taylor.
Nephews: Harold Hoggard and Raymond Moore.
Sisters-in-law: Myrtle Satterfield, Neva Hopper, Shirley Satterfield, and Shelba Lewis
Services will be held Wednesday, June 25th at 2:00p at Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Rev. Andy Newbill officiating. Pallbearers will be Billy Hoggard, Bert Watson III, Chad Watson, Aaron Watson, Tim Watson, and Jeff Watson. Visitation begins at 1:00p until service time.
Burial will be in Piggott Cemetery.
