Obituary

Opal Cosey, 92, passed away March 23, 2014, at Estabrooks Havencrest in White Lake, Michigan, after a long battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on October 4, 1921, in Carryville, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late George and Eva (Hampton) Tanner. She was united in marriage to Henry Allen Cosey on December 23, 1940. He preceded her in death in 1999. She was also preceded in death by an infant son and her son, Gary Cosey. Survivors include her daughter, Angela Breneman and husband Lee of Milford, Michigan; son, Rodney Cosey and wife Pam of Waterford, Michigan; daughter-in-law, Sandra Cosey of Sauk Village, Illinois.; seven grandchildren: Kimberly Willoughby, Shannon Wodka, Stephanie Mihalich, Skye Cosey, Andrea Jones, Bill Hicks, and Shawn Engel; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; one sister, Agnes Foster; three brothers, Paul Tanner, Tim Tanner, and Robert Tanner; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 28, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Piggott, Arkansas. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas.
