Sally Fort, 73, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2011, at St. Bernards Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas. She was born on July 14, 1937, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Everett and Matalyn Johnston Templeton. She was united in marriage to Kenneth Fort on February 2, 1954, and to this union two sons were born. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Buddy and William Templeton. Survivors include her husband Kenneth Fort of Piggott, Arkansas; two sons: Michael Fort of Piggott, Arkansas, and Johnny Fort of Fredericktown, Missouri; four grandchildren: Jennifer Fort of Murray, Kentucky, Kenneth Fort of Fredericktown, Missouri, Conner Smith of Fredericktown, Missouri, and Robert Naes of Piggott, Arkansas; brother, Walter Templeton; three sisters: Lola Hall, Joyce Donahoo, Judy Hardin; and many other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 2:00 p.m. at Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas, with Kevin Murray officiating.
