Shirley Glasgow, 85, of Mountain View, Arkansas, passed away Friday, May 1, 2015, at Baxter Regional Medical in Mountain Home, Arkansas. She was born on December 7, 1929, in Prescott, Maine, and was the daughter of the late Israel and Katherine Cohen Bermen. She was united in marriage to Billy Joel Glasgow on January 20, 1991. He preceded her in death on September 1, 2013. She also was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Elaine Debrin. Survivors include her four stepchildren: Mitch Glasgow and wife JoAnn of Memphis, Tennessee, Phyllis Glasgow of Mountain View, Arkansas, Frank Glasgow of Mountain View, Arkansas, and Linda Glasgow of Mountain View, Arkansas; six step grandchildren: Melissa, Emily, Josie, Caleb, Cody, and Cullen; three step great-grandchildren Gia, Marina, and Luke; sister, Adelle Grossman of California; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 3, 2015, 2:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Tim McCluskey officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation begins 12:00 p.m. until service time
