Alicetene "Teney" Garner, 84, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away October 23, 2022, at Campbell General Baptist Nursing Home in Campbell, Missouri.

She was born on November 15, 1937, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of William and Lilly (Gribble) Jordan.

Teney was united in marriage to Donald Garner on December 1, 1956, and to this union two sons were born. She was a longtime and faithful member of South Thornton Church of Christ. She worked many years at Brown Shoe Company and Emerson Electric. She was loved by her many friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eafrus Jordan, James Joel Jordan, and Joeldean Jordan; sister, Florence Eason.

Teney is survived by her husband, Donald Garner of Piggott, Arkansas; sons, William Garner of Little Rock, Arkansas, and Leniel Ray Garner and wife Lisa of Colorado Springs, Colorado; five grandsons: Jackson Garner, Samuel Garner, Abraham Garner, Will Garner, and Wes Garner; sisters, Sharon Eason and husband Roger of Conway, Arkansas, and Gail Waggoner of Piggott, Arkansas; brother, Gary Jordan and wife Lorraine of London, England; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, October 27, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Jerry Morgan officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jack Garner, Will Garner, Wes Garner, Marcus Keller, Doyle Garner, and James Eason. Honorary pallbearers will be Dennis Roofe and Jeff Eason. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
