Angela Darlene Duffel was born May 8, 1960 in Kennett, MO and passed away on August 6, 2026 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. She was the daughter of Anita Ellen (McWherter) Allman and Jerry Ray Allman.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Anita Ellen Allman and is survived by her father, Jerry Ray Allman. Angie was a devoted and excellent caregiver to both her mother and father.

She was united in marriage to Steven Ray Duffel on March 4, 1983. They were blessed with 43 wonderful years of marriage.

Angela is survived by her loving husband, Steven Duffel; twin sister Lisa Winberry Summers (Jerry); brothers, Scott Allman (Leiann) and Bryan Allman (April); and special aunt, Karen Fraser (Bill).

“Aunt Angie” is also survived by her beloved nephews; Jeremy Winberry, Timothy Winberry, Kyle Allman, and Logan Allman; special nieces, Lora Graddy, Alicia Taylor, Kelsey Whitney, and Makayla Allman; along with great nephews, Adam, Noah, Ben, Kolt and Kamden; great nieces, Emma, Addi, Ella, Oakley and Willow; along with a host of many other relatives and friends.

Angie was a giver. She gave her time and life to others; to her husband, her grandmother, mother and father. She took care of everyone. She adored her nieces and nephews, and everyone went to Aunt Angie’s for fun times, sleepovers, and swimming in the summers.

Angie worked at Rector Sportswear for 28 years until it closed. She is fondly remembered by many and developed special friendships there.

Angie retired from Arkansas DHS on May 29, 2026, after 15 years of service. In 2024 she received the Impact Award from the State of Arkansas for her depth of knowledge and her care for clients and colleagues. She was dearly beloved and respected by her coworkers, many of whom became her closest of friends.

No formal services are planned at this time. A celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date.
