Ann Miller, 85, of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, passed away August 13, 2021, at Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. She was born on November 2, 1935, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and was the daughter of Frank and Edith Veenkant. Ann was united in marriage to J. B. Miller on August 11, 1967. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. B Miller; father, Frank Veenkant; mother, Edith Veenkant; stepson, Samuel Miller; three brothers; and two sisters. Ann enjoyed going to the auction, spending time with her grandchildren, sitting by the pond, raising baby ducks and chickens, and taking pictures. Ann is survived by her children, Roxie Williams and husband Randy of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Jennie Allen and husband Bobby of Malden, Missouri, Charles Miller of Kennett, Missouri, and Minnie Miller of Bloomfield, Missouri; step children, J.L. Miller Eva Russell, Bobby Jo Wilson, Harold B. Murphy and Paul Murphy; grandchildren, Rebecca Nichols and husband Mike of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Ronnie Calder and wife Tammy of Campbell, Missouri, Reva Meadows and husband Corey of Piggott, Arkansas, Stacy Light and husband Josh of Hoxie, Arkansas, and Michael Roberts of Piggott, Arkansas; great-grandchildren, William Calder, Zach Nelson, Quinton Nelson, Gabriel Nelson, Kylie Calder, Bentley Meadows and Alexis Meadows; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial is in Redenbo Cemetery in Corning, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Rick Surprise, David Rudd, William Calder, Terry Bradshaw, Warren Willard, and Jamie Miller. Honorary Pallbearers are Mike Nichols, Corey Meadows, and Tony Miller. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
