Annetta (Montgomery) Rogers, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 16, 2020, at the Piggott General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on April 22, 1940, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Claude and Vera (Braden) Montgomery.When she was a young girl, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior. Many of her family and friends have fond memories of the Montgomery sisters singing gospel songs. Annetta was united in marriage to Ned Rogers on October 2, 1971. She worked for the Tupperware company for many years. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Claude Montgomery, Jr., Donald Montgomery, and Bobby Montgomery; sisters, Twyla Baker, Claudena Bellers, Pagene Cook, Elaine Bomar, Alice Morrow and Barbara Montgomery. Survivors include her husband, Ned Rogers of Dyersburg, Tennessee; brother, Rex Montgomery of West Plains, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. The family deeply appreciates the care given by the staff at the Piggott General Baptist Nursing Home, and especially the caregivers in Magnolia Lane. A special thank-you also goes to Dr. Dennis Blake and the staff of the Piggott Community Hospital who cared for Annetta. A private burial will be held at Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas.
