Anthony Lee Thompson, 69, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away November 29, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Chesterfield, Missouri.

He was born August 3, 1956, in Kennett, Missouri, the son of the late Edward and June (Haywood) Thompson.

Anthony served proudly in the United States Air Force. He loved fishing more than anything, and it was his favorite pastime. He also enjoyed tinkering and working on anything he could take apart or fix. He was known for his stories, his sense of humor, and his easy-going nature. He never held a grudge and had a genuine likability that made him unforgettable to those who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Marty Thompson; and sister, Debra Redford.

He is survived by his two sons; sister, Tammy Lyman (David) of Arkansas; brother, Kyle Ray Thompson (Kelly) of Missouri; and nieces and nephews: Melissa, Matt, Kacy, Shawn, Carly, Kennedy, and Kyle.

Graveside services with military honors will be held Monday, December 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Williams Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Arrangements are under the direction of Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home.
