Armenda Bell Boyd,89 , of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Friday, November 8, 2013 at her Home. She was born on November 18, 1923, in Piggott, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Fred and Nettie Vaughn Jaggers. She was united in marriage to Dewey William Boyd on November 15, 1941, to this union a daughter was born. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sisters and two brothers. She is survived by her daughter, Bonnie Ellen Boyd of Piggott, Arkansas; two grandchildren: John Jackson and wife Faith of Potosi, Missouri; Charla Springer and husband Jimmy of Sherwood, Arkansas; six great-grandchildren: Matthew Hicks, Nathanael Hicks, Hannah Roberts, Bailey Jackson, Noah Jackson, and Brody Jackson; great great-granddaughter: Maddilyn Hicks and host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 11, 2013, at 11:00 am in the Hoggard and Sons Chapel with Chris Brantley Officiating. Burial will be in Gravel Hill Cemetery in St Francis, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be John Jackson, Eddie Benbrook, Jimmy Springer, Matthew Hicks, Nathaniel Hicks, Noah Jackson and Brody Jackson. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation will be at 6:00 pm Sunday.
