Arvella Doty, 91, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 11, 2023, at Rector Nursing and Rehab in Rector, Arkansas.

She was born on April 25, 1932, in Hamtown, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late William and Birdie (Riddle) Moore.

Arvella was united in marriage to Frank Doty on September 17, 1977.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Doty; father, William Herbert Moore; mother, Birdie Ellen Moore; three brothers, Thomas Moore, Chester Moore, and Arnold Moore.

Arvella is survived by her son, William (Pat) Bailey of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; stepson, Todd (Sarita) Doty of Perry, Georgia; three daughters, Kay (Gary) Wilkerson of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Debbie (Darrell) Law of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, and Glenda (Don) Baxter of Piggott, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, Michael Bailey, James (Sirena) Law, Kim South, Christy (John) Cullum, Karen (David) Paukner, Mindy Wilkerson, Becky (Ryan) Turner, Jaida (Steven) Lynch, and Joseph P. (Tamara) Lopez; two step-grandchildren, Jeff (Kat) Baxter and Matthew Baxter; twenty great-grandchildren, Katelyn (Jordan Lansford) South, Brianna South, Brandon (Hannah) Law, Logan South, Kayla Battles, Ashton Law, Jaden Law, Donovan Herrold, Meadow Herrold, Lexi (Jacob Orchard) Potter, Skyler (Brooklyn) Potter, Jeremie Wilkerson, Shelby Oconner, Olivia Adele Lopez, Gage Bailey, Trevor Turner, Taylor Turner, Bay Paukner, Jacob Bailey, and Teegan Bailey; seven great-great-grandchildren, Blaze, Baylar, Emeryson, Colson, Cane, Oaklyn, and Leightyn; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 13, 2023, at 2:30 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Gary Hancock, Bro. Matthew Collier officiating. Burial is in Cummins Chapel Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be all her grandsons. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 1:30 pm until 2:30 pm in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
