Barry Lane Watson, 57, of Piggott, Arkansas went to join the angels in Heaven on January 29, 2022 at home, surrounded by his family.
He was born June 2, 1964 in St. Louis, the son of the late Bill L. Watson, Sr. and Nancy (Shaw) Lesher, who survives. Also predeceased was his little brother Bruce in 1974. Barry spent his early childhood years in St. Louis until moving to Dexter, MO when he was 10 years old. He was a graduate of Dexter High School, class of 1983.
Barry proudly served four years in the U. S. Air Force. He was a gifted artist and an avid bow hunter with prize trophies to show for it. He loved cars, especially the Chevy HHRs he owned in the past few years. At one time he was a dog breeder, something he gave up in recent years but dearest in his heart was his beloved English bulldog, Runt. Barry loved the life he made in Piggott over the past 30 years.
Barry is survived by his wife Prudence Roxanne (Pritchett) Watson, his mother Nancy (Shaw) Lesher (David) of Davis, WV, daughter Arikka R. (Watson) Moubray (Nate) of Tennessee, stepson Jamie Laster of North Carolina, stepdaughter Christina Cavaness of Paragould, AR, granddaughter Kimber Lynn Moubray, grandsons Weston and Dylan Cavaness (who loved to call Barry their Pawpaw Birdie) three brothers, Bill L. Watson, Jr. of Strasburg, VA, Brian K. Stacy of Jonesboro, AR, Kevin Stacy (Sheila) of Dexter, MO, nephews Dakota Stacy, Cory Stacy and Arnold Garrison and many dear friends.
There will be a memorial service held February 19th at Hitts Chapel Church in Piggott Arkansas at 2 pm.
