Bernice Threatt, 80, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away August 8, 2020, in Gadsden, Tennessee.
She was born on May 18, 1940, in Rector, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Bernard and June (Thompson) Williamson.
Bernice was united in marriage to James Holland Threatt on July 11, 1956, and to this union three children were born.
She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Williamson; mother, June Williamson; and her daughter, Barbara Threatt.
Bernice enjoyed gardening and loved flowers. She was a wonderful cook who was known for her delicious pies. Bernice loved to travel and recently visited Noah's Ark. She loved reading her Bible and led many to Christ beginning with her children, grandchildren, and friends.
Survivors include her husband, James Holland Threatt of Piggott, Arkansas; children, Brenda Johnson of Gadsden, Tennessee, Jim Threatt and wife Stephanie of Pollard, Arkansas; grandchildren, Teresa Collett and husband James, Samantha Redding and husband Chris, Matthew Soares and wife Jessica, Jimmy Threatt and wife Jacqueline, Josh Threatt and wife Jackie, Jaessa Threatt, Jaden Threatt, and Wayne Johnson; great-grandchildren, Michael Collett, Cheyenne Collett, Breanna Collett, Caley Soares, Jackson French, Rylan Redding, Nolan Redding, and Jessica Johnson; great-great grandchildren, Addison Collett, Wyatt Collett, Clifton Collett, and Eric Gladney; sister, Joanne Latta and husband Steve of Pollard, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Graveside service will be held Friday, August 14, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at the New Hope Cemetery in Pollard, Arkansas, with Bro. Shelly Elkins officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Redding, Darin Hickson, Michael Collett, Dwayne Holifield, Bryan Foster, and Tom Bettincourt. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
