Bessie Mae Fielder, 86, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away June 13, 2023, at her home in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was born on March 8, 1937, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late Emil and Edith (Book) Simpson.
Bessie was united in marriage to Billie Jean Fielder on November 23, 1954.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emil and Edith Simpson; two brothers, Don Simpson and Wendell Simpson; sister, Carolyn Burris.
Bessie is survived by her husband Billie Jean Fielder; son, Lee Fielder of Little Rock, Arkansas; daughter, Audrey Collins of Piggott, Arkansas; four grandchildren, Megan Dalton of Nashville, Tennessee, Hillary Braman of Piggott, Arkansas, Jordan Ralph of Piggott, Arkansas, and Lindsay Poole of Piggott, Arkansas; 13 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Curtis Simpson of Lampasas, Texas; sister, Maggie Brigman of Campbell, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, June 15, 2023, at 2:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Barry Fielder officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Braden Ralph, Logan Ralph, Ethan Ralph, Hadden Parrish, Zephyer Tinsley, and Shylan Newberry. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
