Billy
Mann
Apr 10, 1941 — Mar 25, 2024
Billy Mann, 82, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away March 25, 2024, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born on April 10, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, and was the son of the late Bill and Lorene (Lack) Mann.
Billy was united in marriage to his great love Geraldine "Jerri" Huffman on December 24, 1960, and to this union two children were born.
Billy was good-hearted and loved to pull practical jokes and tease people, making them smile. Whether it was planting a garden, working on his farm, or watching the grass grow, he enjoyed spending time outside.
Some of his fondest memories were coaching boy's softball and growing up in Pollard. He was an active officer in the Hall and Gravel Hill Cemetery Association for many years. He enjoyed cheering for the Arkansas Razorbacks and watching Western movies/tv shows. He was a believer in Christ and "knew where he was going" when he took his last breath. His greatest joy was his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Gary Mann.
Billy is survived by his wife of 63 years, Geraldine "Jerri" Mann; son, Roland Mann and wife B.J. of Ocala, Florida; daughter, Angie Mann of Olive Branch, Mississippi; grandchildren, Brittany and Brett; brothers, Roger Mann and wife Sharon of Cordova, Tennessee and Mark Mann of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday, March 28, 2024, at 12:30 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Freddie Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery near St. Francis, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Roger Mann, Mark Mann, Daniel Casey Mann, Mike Mann, Tony Mann and Travis Huffmann. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday beginning at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
