Bobby Joe Burns, 74, of Rector, Arkansas, passed away Monday, December 27, 2010, at his home in Rector, Arkansas. He was born August 13, 1936, in Knob, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Talbert Columbus and Blanche (Pierce) Burns. He was also preceded in death by two children: Joe Bob Burns and Tina Irene Burns. He was united in marriage to Marsha Graves on October 2, 1978. Survivors include his wife Marsha; children: Bobby Joe Burns, Jr., Violet Renee Burns, Jackie Lee Burns, Barry Gene Burns, Tonie Dawn Wofford, Robert Joe Burns; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends. A graveside service will be held Thursday, December 30, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at Mars Hill Cemetery in Crockett, Arkansas, with Ken Roden officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
