Bobby Devon Causey, 88, of Piggott, Arkansas, went to be with his Lord February 4, 2022, at his home surrounded by family.
He was born on November 15, 1933, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of Homer and Dora (McKinney) Causey.
Bob was united in marriage to Irene Klessel on November 19, 1977.
Bob loved to watch, play and coach softball and baseball. He also loved bowling, while he lived in Michigan. He hunted all over Clay County for quail and deer and he made many good memories while fishing with his sons and grandsons, brothers and anyone who would go with him. He also had a love for riding and training horses and became a Trail Boss at Forches Creek for 20 plus years.
Bob created masterpieces with wood and metal. Raising a garden was like a breath of Spring to him. Planting the seeds and waiting for them to come up and produce fruit.
His love of baseball was a joy. He played, coached and watched his children and grandchildren play. He played up until the age of 78 here in Piggott and also in Michigan where he lived for 30 years while working for General Motors. He lived a full and wonderful Christian life.
He was preceded in death by his father, Homer Causey; mother, Dora Causey; son, Bobby Causey; step daughter, Linda Wimmer; two brothers, Gaylon Causey and Donald Causey; and sister, Thelma May Johnson.
