Brenda Faye Hoggard, 79, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away October 12, 2024, at her home surrounded by family.

She was born on July 8, 1945, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the daughter of the late John Patrick and Shirley (Bryant) Parks.

Brenda was united in marriage to Jerry Wayne Hoggard on September 13, 1975.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Nathan Wayne Hoggard and Billy Ray Hoggard; brother, Bobby Parks; sisters, Anabelle Duty, Genetta Fry, and infant sister, Bonnie.

Brenda is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Jerry Hoggard; children, Kathy Hoggard, Ricky Hoggard, and Bridgette Durborow; grandchildren: Chris Warbritton, Shannon Herren, Tabatha Wilson, Nathan Burrows, Jamie Hoggard, Austin Hartsfield, Becky Paukner, Destiny Durborow; great grandchildren, Homer, Tyler, Jasmine, Lexie, Lindsey, Sierra, Natalie, Keaton, Bailey, Laney, Harper, Ryker, and Adesyn; eight great-grandchildren; two sisters: Carrie Copelin and Sandra England and husband Robert; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, October 14, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Ronnie Stevens officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Jamie Hoggard, Allen Massey, David Finley, Shannon Herren, Chris Warbritton, and Terry Bob Hoggard. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Monday from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m.
