Brenda Jean Mobley, age 68, of Arkadelphia, passed from this life on Monday, March 14, 2022, peacefully at her home. She was born November 15, 1953, in Piggott, Arkansas, to Maynard and Wanda Morris. She was preceded in death by her son, Jake Forrest, daughter, Shelia Taylor; husband Weldon Mobley, parents, Maynard and Wanda Morris; and brother, James Ronald Morris. Brenda enjoyed family and friends, painting, gardening and taking care of her dogs. She is survived by her children: Nelson Mobley and wife Thess, Sherri Burris and husband Mark, and Jason Burkman and wife Keri; grandchildren: Jennifer Mobley and husband Chris, Cody Burris and wife Amy, Blake Burkman, Sierra Burris, Haley Green, Hannah Green, Josh Cook, Baylor Burkman, Heidi Green, Brielle Burkman, Dillon Mobley, Deacon Mobley, and Matthew Burkman; and great grandchildren: Zachary, William, Mason, Boston, Marleigh, Charolotte, Maverick, and Cale; and other relatives and friends. Graveside service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at New Hope Cemetery with Richard Benson officiating.
