Bud Davis, 83, of Pollard, Arkansas, passed away April 10, 2022, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on December 26, 1938, in Dunklin County, Missouri, and was the son of the late Thomas and Brooksey (Miller) Davis. Bud was united in marriage to Connie (Kowens) Davis on February 23, 1963. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Connie Davis. Bud is survived by his three sons, Danny (Andrea) Davis of Marmaduke, Arkansas, Mark (Lorrie) Davis of Piggott, Arkansas, and Stephen Davis of Pollard, Arkansas; two grandsons, Aaron (Amber) Davis, and Eric Davis; three great grandchildren, Rhys, Thatcher, and Gerti; two brothers, Preston (Elizabeth) Davis of Pollard, Arkansas, Elvis (Joyce) Davis of Pollard, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation is Wednesday, April 13, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas with funeral service beginning at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Larry McFadden officiating. A private burial will be held in Cummins Chapel Cemetery near Pollard, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
