Burley Ray Warner, 87, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 18, 2022, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.

He was born on November 30, 1935, in Gideon, Missouri, and was the son of Wesley and Freda (Kent) Warner.

Burley was united in marriage to Alma Cole on February 25, 1960.

Burley was a Korean War Veteran serving in the United States Navy. He enjoyed woodworking.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Deborah Russell; infant daughter, Melissa Warner; brothers, Lloyd Warner, Audrey Warner; infant brothers, Charles and Clarence Warner; sisters, Naomia Warner, Redis Borah, Shirley Matthews; and infant sister, Virginia Warner.

Burley is survived by his two daughters, Kimberly Meade of Holcomb, Missouri, Robin (Steven) Resweber of Fairfax, Virginia; seven grandchildren, Kyle (Jennifer) Lively of Manila, Arkansas, Ryan (Kate) Kohler of Monticello, Illinois, James Hill of Town Creek, Alabama, Cody (Sara) Meade of Plymouth, Michigan, Delaney Resweber of Fairfax, Virginia, Matthew Resweber of Fairfax, Virginia, Jordan Russell of St. Louis, Missouri; great-grandchildren, Victoria, Wyatt, Luke, Jake, Madeline, Lily, and Cora; sisters, Elva Cole of Lumberton, Texas, and Velva Hardgraves of St. Louis, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Dave Margano officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. until service time.
