Byron Kent Moore, 71, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Piggott, Arkansas.

He was born on August 27, 1953, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Clevel Elmo and Agnes Irene (Fisher) Moore.

Byron was united in marriage to Regina Lynn Tolliver on July 12, 2007.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmo and Agnes Moore; two brothers, Barry Moore and Brad Moore; and his best friend and partner on the ranch, Spade.

Byron is survived by his wife, Regina Moore; daughter, Brandee Moore; granddaughter, Shelby Morgan; and his current ranch hands and buddies, Oakley and Ollie.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 27, 2024, at 10:00 am at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating and Bro. Charles Richardson assisting. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Chuck Sawyers, Wade Smart, Todd Latta, Jerry Wade Morgan, Joe Marshall Rouse, and Scott Leslie. Honorary pallbearers will be Gary Dunlap, Linn Beaver, Blake Tanner, Danny Garrett, Gary Shaw, Glen Moore, Kevin Latimer, and Jerry Ray Tolliver. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, family request memorials to be made to Piggott FFA. Byron enjoyed going to the Clay County Fair to see the kids show their animals. It is the Moore family's wish that these memorials help students with purchasing animals for the shows. Donations can be made at Piggott State Bank.
