Glen Carlos Latimer, 86, of Paragould, Arkansas, passed away November 1, 2017, at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center in Paragould, Arkansas. He was born on May 18, 1931, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Gene and Ella Stahl Latimer. He was united in marriage to Wilma Hester on May 12, 1951, and to this union two children were born. He was preceded in death by his wife; his brothers: Clifford and Norman Latimer; sisters: Nella Dean Hodges and Alma Jones. Survivors include his two sons: Mike (Debbie) Latimer of Paragould, Arkansas and Keven (Brenda) Latimer of Piggott, Arkansas; six grandchildren: Karla Brown, Brandy Benson, Mandy Young, Katie Lipsey, Lora Wallace, Russ Latimer; thirteen great-grandchildren; great-great-granddaughter; brothers: Bo Latimer of Piggott, Arkansas and Lendell Latimer of Doniphan, Missouri; sisters: Loretta Ort of Piggott, Arkansas and Lynne Currie of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Visitation is Friday, November 3rd , 2017, at 10:00 a.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. with Sean Sullivan and Dwight Harrison officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Russ Latimer, Louis Young, Greg Benson, Travis Lipsey, Trevor Wallace, and James Latimer.
