Carolyn Louise Boyd, 80, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away June 20, 2026, at the Rector Nursing & Rehab in Rector, Arkansas. She was born on March 28, 1946, in Knobel, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Louis and Edith (Gaines) Miller. Carolyn was united in marriage to Travis Merrill Boyd October 19, 1963. To this union two children were born: Teresa Lynn Boyd and Timothy Louis Boyd. She was preceded in death by her husband, Travis Merill Boyd, her parents, Louis and Edith Miller, and sister, Pauline Rice. Carolyn is survived by her daughter Teresa (Johnny) McKenney of England, Arkansas, and Tim (Brande) Boyd of Piggott, Arkansas, three grandchildren: Holly (Spencer) Parnell of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Natalie Boyd of Piggott, Arkansas, and Luke (Linh-Sieu) Boyd of Fort Drum, NY; two great-grandchildren: Ella Parnell and Graham Parnell, two sisters: Ruth Vaughter and Kathy (John) Brewster, and many other family and friends. Visitation will be on Saturday June 27, 2026, at 2:00 pm with a memorial service following at 3:00 pm at Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home with Charles Richardson officiating. Private family burial to follow in New Hope Cemetery, Pollard, Arkansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Hope Cemetery Association, Pollard, Arkansas.
