Carolyn Kay Wylie, 69, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away June 17, 2017, at the St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was born on January 12, 1948, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the daughter of Raymond and Junell Fish Davis.
She was united in marriage to Rickey Wylie on August 15, 1966, and to this union two children were born.
She was preceded in death by her father, Raymond Davis; and two brothers: William 'Bill' Raymond Davis and James Franklin Davis.
Carolyn ran a daycare for over 38 years. She was a longtime member of the Church of Christ.
She is survived by her mother, Junell Davis of Fayetteville, Arkansas; her husband, Rickey Wylie of Piggott, Arkansas; two sons: James Allen Wylie and wife Charity of Paragould, Arkansas, and David Dewayne Wylie and wife Nancy of Mishawaka, Indiana; adopted daughter-in-law and son-in-law, Robin and Steve Tate of Piggott, Arkansas; adopted sister, Kay Gurley and husband Ronnie and their son, Jason of Piggott, Arkansas; five grandchildren: Mike Wylie, Stephen Tate, Brian Tate, Andrew Hanners and wife Amanda, and Robbie Hanners; three great-grandchildren: Tyler, Kasen, and Hunter; and many other relatives and friends.
A visitation will be held Monday, June 19, 2017, from 2:00 p.m. with a service following at 3:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home with Joe Corum officiating. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
