Carrie Ellis, 72, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 19, 2020, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on February 13, 1948, in Flint, Michigan, and was the daughter of the late Harold and Mary Goodman. Carrie was united in marriage to James Lynn Ellis on June 4, 1973. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Lynn Ellis; son, Jerry Anderson; and brother, Charles Goodman. Survivors include her daughter, Mary Lynn Householder and husband Jimmy of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Jacquita Anderson of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren, Ashley Anderson of Piggott, Arkansas, Tristen Householder and Hunter Householder; brothers, Mike Goodman of Paragould, Arkansas and Tim Goodman of Florida; sister, Rose Van Norman of Michigan; sister-in-law, Dianne Goodman of California; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Charles Richardson officiating. Burial is in Harvey's Chapel in Marmaduke, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Tristen Householder, Jim Threatt, Jeremy Dillard, Steve Nickel, Allen Underwood and Alex Banks. Honorary pallbearer will be Hunter Householder. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. until service time.
