Charles C. Brummett, 61, of Thayer, Missouri, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017, at 12:12 after his bout with cancer. He was born on March 21, 1956, and was the son of W.A. 'Dub' and JoAnna (Johnson) Brummett. He is survived by his wife, Robyn (Burchell) Brummett; daughter, Aimee Newby; son, James Brummett; three stepsons and their families: Josh Brainard, Jonathan Brainard, and Jeremy Kalo Shane; ten grandchildren; mother, JoAnna Brummett; brother, Brian; and uncle Jerry Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father, W.A. 'Dub' Brummett and an infant son. He is a Navy Vietnam Veteran and worked as a truck driver for many years. His loves were fishing, boating, camping, and cooking outside. Visitation is Saturday, May 13, 2017, from 11:00 until 1:00 p.m. with a funeral service immediately following at 1:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Shelly Elkins officiating. Burial is in Qulin Cemetery in Qulin, Missouri. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
