Charles Crafton, 87, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away December 4, 2023, at his home in Piggott, Arkansas.

He was born on October 3, 1936, in Parma, Missouri, and was the son of the late Thomas and Karnese Crafton.

Charles was united in marriage to Rose (Stowers) Crafton on September 18, 1957.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Crafton; mother, Karnese Crafton; daughter, Delta Crafton; brother, John Thomas Crafton; two sisters, Patsy Ruth Crafton and Patricia Neighbors.

Charles is survived by his wife Rose Crafton; two daughters, Laveda Whiteside of Piggott, Arkansas, and Christine (Steve) Wall of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; five grandchildren, Matthew (Danielle) Wall of Walcott, Arkansas, Luke (Audrey Jane) Wall of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Kyle (Nikki) Johnson of Paragould, Arkansas, Briana Lenay Gorgus of Paragould, Arkansas, Bryce Whiteside of Campbell, Missouri; eight great-grandchildren, Macklynn James Wall, Ezra Rose Wall, Keston Aaron Johnson, Josie Caroline Johnson, Xander Wayne Dalele, Kaden Aaron Lee Calhoun, Khia Maleah Calhoun, and Kennedi Allenia Gargus; three sisters, Ruby Alice Crafton, Stella Mae Crafton, and Leveda Joan Crafton; brother, Elmer Franklin Crafton; and many other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 8, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Steve Tate officiating and Mike Patterson assisting. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday from 12:30 pm until 1:00 pm in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
