Charlie Lucas, 58, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away October 6, 2017, near Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on October 2, 1959, in Lafe, Arkansas, and was the son of the late William Horace and Pearlie June (McDonald) Lucas. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Diane Deason and Dorothy Hale; and brother, Billy Lucas. Survivors include his children: Beverly Roberts of Kennett, Missouri, Charlie Lucas, Jr. of Paragould, Arkansas, and Tyler Lucas of Piggott, Arkansas; the mother of his children, Diane Lucas of Piggott, Arkansas; grandchildren: Collin Roberts and Noah Lucas; sisters: Mary Davis, Debbie Redden, and Lilly Lucas; brothers: Mark Lucas, Ira Lucas, Billy Lucas, and James Lucas; and many other relatives and friends. A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017, beginning at 4:30 p.m. for the family and from 5:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. for the public in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with a memorial service following at 6:00 p.m. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
