Charles W. Tate, 84, of Rector, Arkansas, passed away March 17, 2019, at Rector Nursing and Rehab in Rector, Arkansas. He was born on January 27, 1935, in St. Francis, Arkansas, and was the son of Hershel Tate and Lorene (Stewart) Edwards. He owned Farmer's Flying Service in Piggott, Arkansas in the early eighties. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Inez (Doran) Tate; sons, Steve Hodge and Donnie Hodge. Survivors include his sons, Ernie Hodge of Gainesville, Florida, and Darrell Tate of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter, Sabrina Tate of Saint Louis, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the cremation arrangements.
