Claudine Owens, 82, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away November 25, 2014, at her home in Piggott.
She was born on August 19, 1932, in Dutchtown, Missouri, and was the daughter of the late James Marion and Addie Myers Stidham.
Claudine was baptized in the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Alvin Owens; grandson, Aaron; two brothers, Bill and Shirley Stidham; her infant twin sister, Pauline; and two sisters, Blanche Cato and Mary Burkman.
Survivors include her brother, Clyde Stidham and wife Letha of South Lyon, Michigan; two daughters, Geraldine Gibson and husband Jerry of Carryville, Arkansas, and Pamela Cowgill and husband Albert of Piggott, Arkansas; daughter-in-law, Teresa Owens of Piggott, Arkansas; twelve grandchildren: Wesley, Curtis, Tonya, Dione, Steven, Michael, Melody, Cody, Timmy, Matt, Amanda, and Marsha; several great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 28, 2014, at 12:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Michael Calhoun officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers are the six grandsons. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation begins Friday at 11:00 a.m. until service time.
