Cleda Lea Faulk, 94, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away June 3, 2019, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas.
She was born on June 12, 1924, in Arbyrd, Missouri, and was the daughter of Roy and Beedie (Carter) Blocker.
Cleda was united in marriage to Avis Frank Faulk on October 30, 1941, and to this union one son was born.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Blocker; mother, Beedie Savanah Blocker; brother, Helton Blocker; sisters, Vera Nicholson, Myrline George, Patsy Garner, and Rebecca Foulk.
Cleda was a longtime member of the South Thornton Church of Christ in Piggott, Arkansas. She worked many years for Brown Shoe Company. Cleda loved spending time with her family and prepared many meals for her family to enjoy. She loved animals and spending time outside and especially enjoyed mowing her yard.
Survivors include her son, Frankie Faulk and Teresa of Piggott, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Felicia Faulk of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Brian Snyder and Jenny of Piggott, Arkansas, and Brittinee Dunn and Keith of Tampa, Florida; two great-grandchildren, Cody Westbrook of Mountain Home, Arkansas and Alyssa Dunn of Tampa, Florida; two sisters, Belinda Graddy and Ronnie of Piggott, Arkansas, and Sue Watson of North Little Rock, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, June 7, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Jerry Morgan officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Brian Snyder, Cody Westbrook, Brock Russell, Caleb Morris, Brent Coomer and Jim Mann. James Sheridan will serve as an honorary pallbearer. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
