Clyde Jones, 103, of Bono, Arkansas, formerly of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018, in Bono, Arkansas. He was born on April 19, 1915, and was the son of the late Sam and Maggie (Riggs) Jones. He was preceded in death by his parents; six children: Roy, Troy, Jerry Don, Linda, Baby Jones, and Travis; ten brothers; and four sisters. Clyde enjoyed gardening and fishing. Survivors include his children: Louise Grimes of Piggott, Arkansas, Rickey Jones of Cardwell, Missouri, Brenda Weston of Bono, Arkansas, Cleo Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Debra Wilburn of Hoxie, Arkansas, Glenda Lape of Trumann, Arkansas, Maggie Jones of Poplar Bluff, Missouri, Sharon Spencer of Bay, Arkansas, and Zina McDonald of Paragould, Arkansas; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Buck Jones of Dyess, Arkansas; sister, Elwanda Miller of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 15, 2018, at 11:00 a.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Jay Masterson officiating. Burial is in Piggott Cemetery in Piggott, Arkansas. Pallbearers are Marty Wilburn, Patrick Bryant, Jeff Miller, Sam Stahl, John Duckworth, Terry Jones, Stan Gossett, and Carl Ewing. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Friday, December 14, 2018, at 6:00 p.m.
