Clyde William Lowery, Jr. 86 of Rector, Arkansas passed away September 15, 2023, after surviving pancreatic cancer, bladder cancer, and heart surgery.

He was the son of Clyde Sr. and Ruby (Bradford) Lowery (both deceased) and the brother of Joyce Hecklinski, Diane Monte, Cheryl Model, Deborah Cardona, Michele Neilson, and the late Roger Lowery.

His children are Terry Lowery, Ellen Truax, Jane Sawyers, and Lora Stewart. He is the husband of Vivian Lowery since April 23, 1999. Clyde has numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

After serving honorably in The United States Marines, He completed a bachelor degree in Science and began a long career in the U.S. Postal Service retiring as Postmaster.

He had very fond memories of his summers with his grandparents on their farm and completed a life long goal of retiring to his great-grandparents homestead in Rector, Arkansas raising horses. He is a Knights Templar, Master Free Mason, and member of the Fraternal Elks. He would say most importantly he was a christian and now with his Lord.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Chris Shelton officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Wednesday from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
