Cora Ann Harmon, 81, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away September 16, 2018, at Piggott Community Hospital in Piggott, Arkansas. She was born on August 15, 1937, in Patterson, Arkansas and was the daughter of Oscar and Irma (Fry) Green. Cora was united in marriage to Winfred Madison Harmon on October 24, 1953. She was preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Madison Harmon; father, Oscar Green; mother, Irma Green; and four sisters, Margie Lea Ward, Ella Geneiva Leird ,Evelyn Loveless, and Earlene Neeley. Survivors include her son, Larry Harmon of Tiptonville, Tennessee, three daughters, Sherry (Roger) Moore of Kingston, Georgia, Sandy (Mel) Long of Hiram, Georgia, and Kim Benson of Paragould, Arkansas; grandson, Kelly (Danielle) Moore of Acworth, Georgia; grandson, Kevin (Shannon) Moore of Memphis, Tennessee; granddaughter, Karla Hill of Kennesaw, Georgia; granddaughter, Kerri Hydrick of Hiram, Georgia; grandson, Corey (Brieanna) Laird of Paragould, Arkansas; granddaughter, Kathy (Josh) Richey of Paragould, Arkansas; grandson, Chance (Sarah) Benson of Collerville, Tennessee; grandson, John Benson of Paragould, Arkansas; eleven great-grandchildren: Christian, Kasey, Hudson, Brody, Cooper, Dylan, Kayla, Colin, Addison, Kaitlyn, and Kylie; sister, Sylvia Reed of Pevely, Missouri; brothers-in-law, Fletcher Leird of Malden, Missouri, and Jim Harmon of Rector, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 4:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas, with Bro. Fred Barker officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be John Benson, Chance Benson, Corey Laird, Larry Harmon, Josh Richey, and Ted Harmon. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Thursday from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott, Arkansas.
