Corinne Wayland, 96, of Saint Louis, Missouri, passed away April 5, 2024, at Laclede Groves in St. Louis, Missouri.

She was born on May 15, 1927, in Baxter County, Arkansas, near Promised Land Road and was the daughter of the late William Uz and Bertha (King) Wayland. Shortly after her birth, her family moved to Dunklin County, Missouri near the Cochrum community. After graduation from Cardwell High School, Corinne moved to St. Louis, Missouri, where she lived near her sisters, Geneva and Helen. She loved traveling with her sisters, enjoying many sites in the US and overseas.

Corinne was the last surviving child born to William and Bertha. Her beloved siblings who preceded her in death were, Ruth Wayland, Grace McSpadden, Mollie Engler, Paul Wayland, Henry Wayland, Geneva Wayland, Helen Dixon, Hazel Witwicke, Willia Massey, Norene Tucker, and Emma Nell Denman. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at the Linwood Cemetery in Paragould, Arkansas. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
