Coy Mauldin, 73, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away April 26, 2018, in Kennett, Missouri.
He was born in Mt. Ida, Arkansas, on July 9, 1944, and was the son of the late Carl Alvin Mauldin and Margaret Lucille (Bean) Mauldin.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father and his sister, Mary Yow.
He was united in marriage to the late Louetta Fay Holifield on May 5, 1962, and to this union two children were born: Janet Fay Cale and husband Roger of Piggott, Arkansas, and Coy Leslie Mauldin and wife Angie of Piggott, Arkansas.
He is also survived by two grandchildren: Mandy Dodd of Mountain View, Missouri, and Casey Langley and husband Gage of Piggott, Arkansas; four great-grandchildren: Brooklyn (9), Khloe (7), Ethan (7), and Abram (4); three brothers: Hallie Mauldin and wife Carolyn, Ralph Mauldin and wife Pam, and Carl Mauldin and wife Diane; four sisters: Lucille Bond, Betty Butler, Kathy Houser, and Ruby Cataldo and husband Steve; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Coy was a mechanic for many years. He enjoyed working on small antique tractors, fishing, and spending time with his family while playing music.
A private service will be held by the family at a later date. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, was in charge of the arrangements.
