Comrade Warrington "C.W." Knauts, 87, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away January 11, 2023, at General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas.

He was born on June 18, 1935, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Edwin and Alma (Warrington) Knauts.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Knauts and his son, Kurt Knauts.

C.W. began his law career in 1959. He owned a law office in Piggott, Arkansas, serving the community as City Attorney, Deputy Prosecuting Attorney and various other roles. He also served in the Lion's Club and Piggott Jaycees. He was an avid golfer, spending endless hours golfing with friends and winning countless tournaments and awards.

He is survived by his son Kevin Knauts of Cherokee Village, Arkansas; grandchildren: Chase Knauts of Rogers, Arkansas and Drake Clark of Pryor, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren: Ellis and Emmett Knauts and Kenzie and Drew Clark; and many other relatives and friends.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Murray officiating. A private burial will follow at Piggott Cemetery. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements.
