Daniel Ray Brawner, 88, of Piggott, Arkansas, passed away January 27, 2022, at Piggott General Baptist Nursing Home in Piggott, Arkansas. He was born on December 20, 1933, in Piggott, Arkansas, and was the son of Chancy and Georgie (Brooks) Brawner. He was preceded in death by his father, Chancy Brawner; mother, Georgie Brawner; wife, Helen Brawner; two sons, Michael Brawner and Allen Brawner; four brothers, Charles Brawner, Jim Brawner, Fred Brawner, and Paul Brawner; and sister, Reba Gibson. Daniel is survived by his sister, Mary Louise Hopple of Greenway, Arkansas; three sons, John Brawner of Wisconsin, Raymond Brawner of Wisconsin, and Ronnie Brawner of Doniphan, Missouri; daughter, Debbie Walker of Doniphan, Missouri; two nephews, Roy Hopple and Johnnie Frazier; two nieces, Rene Frazier and Jennifer Hopple; many grandchildren, great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Graveside services will be held Friday, January 28, 2022, at 9:00 a.m. at the Gravel Hill Cemetery in St. Francis, Arkansas.
