David Bradley Burr, 54, of Marble Hill, Missouri, passed away June 20, 2017, at Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Jackson, Missouri. He was born on May 12, 1963, in Columbia, Missouri, and was the son of Ronnie C. and Patricia Ann (Howell) Burr. He was preceded in death by his father, Ronnie C. Burr, Sr. and sister, Melissa Lynn Burr Loughary. Survivors include his mother, Patricia Burr of Piggott, Arkansas; three brothers: Ronnie C. Burr, Jr. of Piggott, Arkansas; Larry E. Burr of Columbia, Missouri, and Daniel L. Burr and Anita Duffy of Piggott, Arkansas; grandmother, Virginia Menser of Piggott, Arkansas; and many other relatives and friends. David was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp. He loved to fish and play the lottery. He could out smoke most people and loved listening to the Beach Boys. He worked as a short order cook at the Interstate Pancake House off Interstate 70 near Columbia, Missouri. Funeral services with military honors will be held Thursday, June 22, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. in the Hoggard & Sons Chapel with Kevin Murray officiating. A private burial will be held in the Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Visitation will begin Thursday at 1:00 p.m. until service time.
