Dennis Dewayne Scheffler, 63 of Corning, Arkansas, passed away Tuesday, June 7, 2016 at the Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Arkansas. He was born July 18, 1952 to the late Alfred M. and Vinia Green Scheffler. He was united in marriage to Nancy Hendrix on August 15, 1970. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brenda Reichardt. He is survived by his wife Nancy Scheffler; one son Dewayne Scheffler and wife Christy of Corning, Arkansas, three grandchildren, Sierra Pyle and Hunter, Katelyn Scheffler, and Berto, and Sammy Scheffler; two great-grandchildren Bentlee and Cooper Ragel, and a host of other relatives and friends. Dennis loved to hunt and fish, and spending time with grand and great grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Friday, June 10 , 2016, at 2:00 p.m. in Hoggard & Sons chapel with Tim Burgess officiating. Interment at Post Oak Cemetery in McDougal, Arkansas. Pallbearers: Jay Finley, Matthew Culver, Mike culver, Kendall Green, Bradley Green, Hunter Pyle, Berto Rangel, and Cory Cassinger. Hoggard and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Visitation will start at 11:00 Friday, June 10, 2016.
