Dennis Tinsley, 65, of Kennett, Missouri, passed away January 18, 2024, at his home in Kennett, Missouri.

He was born on April 26, 1958, in Clay County, Arkansas, and was the son of the late Cleatus and Nettie (Miller) Tinsley.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleatus and Nettie Tinsley; three brothers, Dale Tinsley, Gary Tinsley, and Gerald Tinsley; one sister, Vernetta Nixon.

Dennis is survived by his special friend of the home, Mary Holliman; son, Damien Tinsley of Kennett, Missouri; two stepsons, Will Holliman and Tony Holliman both of Kennett, Missouri; three grandchildren, Theya Williams of Kennett, Missouri, Jenna Paige Holliman of Kennett, Missouri, and Heaven Holliman of Kennett, Missouri; two brothers, Charles (Mary Alice) Tinsley of Rector, Arkansas, Reginald (Cynthia) Tinsley of Fairdealing, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.

Dennis enjoyed working with wood and his craftsmanship was shown through each piece.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 20, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas, with Josh Dement officiating. Burial is in Mitchell Cemetery in Greenway, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Trevor Tinsley, Stephan Tinsley, Will Holliman, Tony Holliman, Steven Turner, and Nick Tucker. Honorary pallbearer will be Jim Duncan. Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home of Piggott, Arkansas, is in charge of the arrangements. Visitation is Saturday from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm in Hoggard & Sons Chapel in Piggott, Arkansas.
