Dianne Williams Cluck, 81 of Piggott, Arkansas passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at the Piggott Community Hospital. Dianne was born in 1943 in Detroit, Michigan. She was the daughter of the late Oather B. Williams and Maebelle Irene Gower.
Dianne graduated from Piggott High School, class of 1961. She attended the Kennett Area Vocational Technical of Practical Nursing, earning her certificate as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She served as the School Nurse for the Piggott Public School District for 25 years, retiring in 2005. She was active in her community, serving as a Den Leader and Committee member for the local Cub Scout Pack and Boy Scout Troop.
She had a lifelong love of horses which led to her association with the Cowgirls, her riding and traveling partners. She was a member of the Westside Church of Christ in Piggott.
Her love of horses led her to the love of her life, the late Larry Neil Cluck of Greenway, Arkansas. Neil rode a beautiful American Quarter Horse named Pluto. Dianne and Neil were united in marriage on July 24, 1964, and Dianne got the horse!
Neil preceded her in death in December 2014. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Patsy Miller of Russellville.
She is survived by her sons, Damon Neil Cluck and wife Brenda of Sherwood, Arkansas and Darin Lee Cluck and wife Kay Lynn of Piggott, five grandchildren, Erica Paige Burns and husband Josef, Alexa Nicole Dehart and Makayla Dehart, Annable Lee Cluck, Hayden Ray Cluck and Aiden William Cluck and five and a half great grandchildren, Kyle, Lane, Ryker, Bentley, Wilder, and one on the way! She is survived by her sister Mrs. Brenda Baldwin, and many nieces and nephews, including Ms. Tondra Taylor who was her primary caregiver for the last few months of her life.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 28, 2024, from 1:30 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Funeral Home in Piggott. Funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Hoggard & Sons Chapel, with Brother Greg Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Piggott Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family has asked that donations be made to the Arkansas National Guard Foundation in lieu of flowers at www.angf.us.
